x1950 pro agp .. is the best you can get for AGP atm! It can also be had for less than £100 :)

X1950Pro for arround that price.

edited to add: Though the Asus ATI Radeon X1650 Pro HTD Silent 256MB you linked to is certainly much better than the current 9200se.

as above x1950pro very good or see how cheap you can find a 7600gt for and use the rest of the cash towards more RAM. 512mb will hold a lot of things back

anything is better than a 9200SE
 
I'd say x1950 pro too, but tbh you're better off getting a x1650xt/pro and then putting the remaining money towards more RAM, games were starting to need 1GB about 2-3 years back, let alone now, where an increasing number desire 2GB.

If he can afford both, tell him to get both, but if hes only upgrading the graphics card, x1650xt/pro and then 1/2GB of RAM. The difference will probably be mindblowing :) The 9200se was a hideous card at the time, let alone now.

Looks like his machine is pretty dated maybe he could afford the 1950 pro
and an extra 1.5gig in memory as his memory will prob be a bit behind times
also. Not sure on this though.
