Card for running COD World at War

On a dell 24" Monitor

BUT I only have about £120

So what would you suggest. I currently have a Quadro FX570 and it seems to struggle at 1024x768

Ok I relise that I will probable not be able to run full res (1920x1200) but it would be nice to get near that

get a 4850, would run at 1920x1200 easilly, maybe even with a bit of AA, if not, a second hand 8800 GT or 8800 GTX

I dont think a 4850 would give the perfomance u need on a 24" monitor the second option of the powercolor 4870 (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-090-PC&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=939 )ok it's about £30 more than u wish to spend but is by far the best option and atm is about the same price as some of the 4850's.
The 4870 would be a bit more future proof for u as well

He wanted to play WaW, and a 4850 will destroy that game. Yes, the 4870 is a better card, but there isn't a lot in it.

Get the best you can afford. With your budget the powercolour 4850 looks like the sugary plums to me. Superb card.

Just love this review for it:

The HD4850 is not the most powerful card you can buy and it won't make you more attractive to woman (unless you stuff it down your jeans!) but what it will do is give you a cutting edge 800 stream processor card that can play pretty much any game out there . . . what's not to like?

I also notice that the 4870 takes up two bays and will also be noisier?
