Ive got a freind who has just been given an old pc for free which has a form of Linux installed on it
He has asked me to see if i can find a version of solitaire for him that i can install via a usb dongle.
So ive come here to find out which is the best freeware version of solitaire to download that will be compatable with all variations of Linux as i do not know which variant is installed on the pc.

His desktop environment should contain solitaire like games? Both gnome & kde have them:

They might be not be installed by default, but should be installable from his distributions package manager.
