Card problem

My build is ASUS A8R32-MPV DELUXE updated to 0311
AMD 64 BIT 3500 CLAWHAMMER
CONNECT3D X1900 XT-X GRAPHICS CARD updated to lastest driver
CORSAIR 2GB DDR XMS3200C2PT TWINX 2x1gb
SEASONIC S12 600 WATT PSU
2 X SEAGATE 120GB SATA HARD DRIVES running in RAID-0
LG DVD REWRITER 4163B
THERMALTAKE SHARK CASE
USING ONBOARD SOUND

Help need please,


I'm having a few problems with error reports with my graphics card first i had the system crash while i went into ATI CCC and while watching the 3d review it froze and crashed but i resolved this in display options 3d refresh rate override was disabled so i changed it to same as desktop.

The other probem is when it crashed in ATI CCC before i changed the display option i was sent to this link

When i started up my pc when i got home i got a error message up and i sent the report to microsoft and i was sent to the same link as above.I have been racking my brain over the last 2 days and now think i have a faulty card and thinking about returning the card to be checked out.

Does it have the same problems during gaming? If not then i doubt the card is faulty, maybe just corrupt drivers or something. Try downloading the drivers on their own, (without CCC) and try ATi Tools for all your 3d settings. Try using that to overclock aswell

No it doesn't have the same problem in games played call of duty 2 and had no problems at all but i found a strange thing when i ran the stress test in Half life 2 lost coast last night i got a averag fps of 56.6 but on my old card i got 62.1 which i do find strange.Will have to download the drivers on there own tomorrow as my cpu is to be exchange as i have found out i was sold a newcastle chip and not the venice chip i asked for.

Where do i find the drivers on there own can't find it on ATI site either can i find ATI TOOLS............doh lol
