I noticed the 460GTX from Palit (1gb Sonic) Costs a bit less than the others there, for prices such as 174 quid.
Whats the reason for it ?

Palit like powercolour are just value vendors, you will always find them priced 5-10% below the competition, your just sacrificing the brand and possibly a higher level of support.

How about cooling ? I heard its worse aswell

Nah worse is very subjective, noisier perhaps , but worse ? It will push air , the alum will sink the heat, with a 460 there isnt much worry there. Just might be noisier, but thats why ya read reviews if it matters to you ya read reviews about the diff brands as they often do a noise comparison
