Card Reader Icons In XP64bit

Anyone had any luck changing the icons in XP64, I have done the registry hack to put a path to the icons on the appropriate drives and in my Computer and explorer they remain unchanged, I have a third party explorer type program installed and the icons show just fine in that.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons\J]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons\J\DefaultIcon]
@="C:\\Documents and Settings\\Icons\\Cf.ico"

The above works fine in XP Pro and windows 2000

What chipset is your card reader? Some have software that willdo this for you like Realtek for instance.

If you pop it open and see what chipset it is you may be able to find the software/reg hacks for the icons.

That’s interesting as I assumed the chips set would effect this as the original hack I showed on the 1st post works on my other card equally as well on my second computer which is made by Enlight, to save pulling it apart I will do a search surely someone else know which chip set it uses.
