Hi!

I've got a Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 8-in-1 media reader & writer (F5U248).

It reads my 2GB CF card, my 1GB SD card, etc. no problems at all.

However, I've just bought a 4GB SD card, which I use in both my digital camera, and my PDA (with no problems). But when I want to transfer files, the Belkin card reader just doesn't see it.

It might seem like a stupid question, but does the card reader have any kind of updateable firmware - or am I better off just buying a new card reader?

Cheers!

Im not expert on the SD cards or reader but from what i read on the OcUK write up on the 4 GB SD card you need a Type 2 reader for it to work.

Could this be the problem ?

NB - This is a Compact Flash II card and will NOT fit in devices designed to only accept Compact Flash I cards. Please check your device operating manual before ordering.[/
