Card size

Hey,

Im looking to buy the ATI Radeon HD 4670 PCS 512MB GDDR3.

But i have one question but does this card fit in a single slot?? and the fan is not to big (to fit into a shuttle)

i bought a ATI HD 3850 Pro a few months ago but the fan was so BIG that it didnt fit in the case! so thats why im checking on this one.

Someone must have a 4670... all i need to know is that the card and fan dont take up a second slot next to it.

The ATI reference coolers are single slot but the PCS is a custom two-slot design.

The 3850 Pro reference design is also single slot but many of the cards use custom two-slotters.

Purely from the pictures (no online seller will guarantee the pics are accurate) I would suggest you pick the Sapphire, as it appears to use the reference cooler.

Keep in mind that having a fan close-up to a PCI card may cause it or the PCI card to overheat!
