Card upgrade

So I been toying around with the idea of upgrading my card to a 5850. Keep putting it off though 'cause it's quite a lot of money but I just noticed this deal!

Seems like a great price with the 2 games.

However, am I right in thinking that unlike the asus card it will have a locked bios and limit my over clocking?

It does seem a good deal if you don't have, but want to play those games. Aslong as you know the games are probably vouchers to digitally download them and not a hard copy.

I don't know a thing about locked bios on these cards but will be surprised if ati CC can't provide a overclock tab for this card.

Well I will be able to over clock it some what but I think with the locked bios I wont be able to to chane the voltage.

I could be wrong but I think that PCS version has different voltage regulators and can't be voltage tweaked in software anyway.

You'll have to decide for yourself if the games matter more or the ease of overclocking.

Mmm, I'll probably get the asus then. I really need to do a total upgrade but don't have the money
