I have just received my new 3870, one of the reasons i picked it was for the 3 yr warranty it came with, i was just wondering what the warranty will be limited to, overclocking for example, thanks for your help :)
 
Usually unless specifically stated warranty will not cover overclocking , change of fan etc

It is a risk that you decide if your willing to take ; understanding that a rma later may fail
 
If you overclock your card, remove the fan, or basically change it from its current condition then it will void the warranty.

I do not know, however, if its possible to tell if a card has been OCed in the past? So if they will be able to tell is another story...
