Card will not power on

Wondering if anyone can help me...I have just upgraded to the

It arrived today and I have installed the card. When I turn the system on, the card lights up for a second then shuts down. The fans do not run and I get no output. I cannot work out why it will not power on any further.

My motherboard is an MSI Z87-G43 with the latest BIOS (As far as I can tell anyway)

My PSU is a 600w..at a quick glance I cannot see the make but I can check if needed.

As a background I was running an Nvidea 560ti which died. I then used a friends 580, both of which were running with no issues at all. I realise this one is a jump but I did not expect this much trouble...

Does anyone have any ideas as I am stumped.

check power connections on PSU and Card.

If your friends card works it could be DOA. RMA it and buy the RX 580 mate - the card you just ordered has been replaced by the 580 for the similar price but 5- 10 % faster for £30 less for 4GB version

I would stick the 580 back in and if that works it's more than likely DOA as said.

The 580 still works fine so it looks like it may be the card...time to contact support.
