After plenty of reading I was all set to order the X1800 when I realised my monitor is analogue only :D

I'm not gonna change monitor so I've had a look at the other ATI cards and it looks like the X800 or one of the 1600's is the next best thing

X800 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Other_ATI.html
X1600 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/X1600_Series.html

The 1600's look better than the 800 so I'm not sure why the 800 is more expensive. As it goes this card looks the best:

Sapphire X1600 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-114-SP) £103.34 Including VAT

Any suggestions would be much appreciated :)

Get a DVI to VGA converter, jobs a good'un:)

They come with most cards now I think..

Although if you were to go with an x800 or an x1600 I would chose the x800:)

Same topic, different section, someone else is also panicking (sp?) about this in the general hardware forum, they ship with 2 adapters in the box.
