Card wont Post

Any ideas i have had a replacement from oc and it wont post, all the fans are working on the card and it lights up it wont post on the monitor tho.Its a ge force 7800 gs oc bfg agpx8 getting stressed here lol.

You could try resteating the card, and is the molex connecter plugged into it? Also, is it a dedicated molex?

Also worth checking that you are on the correct monitor input.

Try clearing the CMOS, sometimes the system won't POST until you have done that. All fans spin but monitor remains on standby!

Hi thanks for your replies, it still wont work after trying what you suggested, if i put my old card back in it boots ok very strange never had a card that wont post before any more things i can do before i rma it?

Is your PSU supplying enough juice?

You could try unplugging everything that isn't needed (hard drives apart from the windows one, hell even DVD drives and lights, even fans *NOT THE CPU ONE!!!*)

Though if it is a decent PSU it probablly isnt that.

If possible try on a friends machine?
