You can also get the Powercolor x1900 XT for only £258, OcUK are really getting hammered on price on the x1900's, so much for their 'cheapest in the UK', they only stick one out cheaply in the 'This Week Only', funny how other places have been that cheap for months, and cheaper. :D

Im not suprised those Connect3D ones are out of stock, at £241 they were sure to sell out, OcUK cant even match that with a 'This Week Only' price ROFL

It's just as bad on the Nvidia front. I have seen 7900gt's for sale elsewhere from £175.02 inc vat, 7900gtx's from £288 inc vat and 7950 GX2's from £376 inc vat which are amazing prices.

ffs mate, you almost made me have kittens!!
im waiting for a RMA c3d x1900xt to be sent to me and i thought i was going to be waiting even longer for one if they were out of stock  i paid over a week ago and must have had 2hr use from a x1900xt :o
theyre are in stock, just not on this week only, which by all accounts looks rather flakey this week, the worst ive ever seen it tbh

Your card also broke ? Like all mine :o

yup, knackered upon arrival
although not nearly as bad as yours

OT, id go for the 7900gt out of those 2. but i would probably go for the 512mb x1800xt if you can find one

7900 GT for its superb overclocking can be had for well under 200 quid and runs cool and doesn't suck power like ATI's offerings.

And can be run in SLI. :D

Just get the x1800 as it overclocks very well to (which i forgot to mention), if you want to get the 7900 GT past an x1800 XT you'll need to do a risky volt mod, x1800 needs nowt like that, and can be run in Xfire. :D

I'd get the 256mb x1800xt and use the change to go towards 2gb of ram. Excellent card and is more than capable at that res.

Risky volt mod?

Na see the official 7900 overclocking thread for details on how easy it is getting a 7900 GT to GTX speeds easily beating a x1800 :D

shop for second hand, graphics cards only age technologically, not physically.

by the time they die of old age, they're so obsolete it dosnt matter, (in my experiance anyway!)
