Reading the article it's actually a pretty decent idea.

I doubt it would ever take off, but the principle seems solid.

The problem would be the fact you still need to get rid of the components! And if your doing that why not buy a proper case?!

Because there is less waste obviously.

I have a antec 900 and I always wrorry that Im gonna spill a drink 1 of these day and its going to go all over the front of the case, and then the front fans are going to splatter it all over the rest of the hardware then BOOM

Supprised no-one's mentionned the fire risk yet..

I'd be worried about it catching fire.

Can't see anything except a potential fire hazard?

i'd consider buying just the cardboard case, if they sold them

A no screw case is a really neat idea - in the same way a motherboard tray is a good idea. Ok it's not designed for gaming hardware but most pc in the world are used for gaming
