Somewhat of a theoretical question but if I put an SLI rig together should I go for stock cards or OC cards? If so what are the advantages of sticking with the stock cards?

reference cards with blower to sli they dissipate the heat outside of the case, you can probably OC if you have good airflow, or even push high OC if you choose to watercool, all depands on the temps, and the noise you can handle
if you go with costume cards they dissipate the heat inside the case, need really good airflow.
