Care- BBC

Watching this just now on iPlayer and the Colorado pallet is pretty dull and muted. Is this intentional?

It's called Art dude.

Altering lighting, lens type, lens aperture and colour temperature
to convey a "mood" is becoming as important in TV drama
as in Movies.
Watch old brightly coloured episodes of Corrie
from the 1980s where the set is blasted by overhead lighting
and compare it to the gloomy lighting and muted colouring of
modern Eastenders episodes.

I know what art is, and effects used for filming.

Just this seemed overly muted and washed out grey. And couldn't work out if it was an iPlayer fault with some sort of overlay effect, now they're going all Netflix style of playing in background etc.

And you'll never make me watch a soap ;)
