I am looking to start my career now but need some guidance on what jobs I'd be good at and enjoy and whether I need a masters and what masters that would be. I have a bachelor in Economics. Does anyone know good organisations to get this advice from? I've found

which charge £600 for a full assessment. I can't find anything reviewed about them though.

£600?

Surely you have some idea what kind of job you want to do?

I think they're trying to test what he's learned in his degree there. :p

Uni should have had careers advisers and there will presumably be a load of free ones. Not sure what the full assessment is really gonna get you.

£600 to tell you something that you should have some idea of what you want to do yourself! Sounds like easy money!

Think of a job you like, go find it and apply for that and many others - see what suits you and go from there.

I did engineering at uni and ended up working in Financial services!

You're at University. Go to your uni's career centre. Most uni's will let you go back a couple of years later to get advice.

For Eco bachelor's, what modules did you find interesting?

Being in my final year of an Eco degree I know quite a few guys looking at careers and such like.
I'm sure you probably know the obvious choices, but I'd base it on what modules you found interesting, and what jobs are relevant to those interests.

Got friends who really loved their macro modules, and therefore want to go into government schemes, some are looking to be part of the EU. Some are doing masters, plenty are applying to banks and accountancy firms. Do you like environment stuff? Maybe environmental economics and stuff?

Ultimately, an Eco degree is actually pretty solid. Demonstrates good numeracy and literacy skills.

What do you want to do?
