Career change

Hi guys I posted in another thread, I'm 27 stuck in a dead end job. I want to start computing dunno where and how. What are the quickest and best options? Someone mentioned cisco, also I would like distance learning or part time, and if possible something very future proof with a good salary. Will I be at a disadvantage being 27?

2 threads in GD barely 5mins apart?? And totally missing the careers sticky at the top of GD. Attention to detail is not something I guess you'll be putting on your cv!
