Cargo or combat trousers?

What's the difference? Is there anything at all?

I always thought that combat trousers were camouflaged where as cargo can be plain. No idea if that's right though, never given it much thought

I always thought they were the same.. I call mine combats or cargo, depends what I feel like!

I always referred to them as whichever word came out of my mouth first without giving it much thought.

I got very sunburnt at the weekend and have since discovered my lack of light clothes.

Can't get away with jeans in the office on normal workdays, so need something else. Plus you don't see many students wearing Maharishi

Not far off, and pink flip-flops are only slightly gayer than normal ones.

As far as I'm concerned the words are interchangeable for trousers with too many pockets, there may be some subtle difference but I've missed it.

Cargo are typically khaki, and have pockets on the side of the thighs. Combats are usually camo, and might not have the side pockets.

I always wanted some good maharishi combats, with an awesome dragon/chinese village embroidary. But i was about 18 then..

now i think they might look a bit gay.

shorts should be either just above the knee (for sport) or just below the knee (casual wear).

shorts above the knee for casual= gay
shorts below the knee for sport= gay
3/4 length shorts any time= gay
