Anyone currently a member of cargocollective and possibly able to issue an invite? I've emailed to request information on their signup process but I haven't heard anything back. I imagine it's become one of those communities only available to the elite and friends of such.

I can't seem to find such a well designed alternative to their interface and apparent back end?

Quite like the system, interface options and style editing is very nice. Though, only paid accounts offer use of own URL and analytics.

I'm wondering wether I should use the cargo interface or stick with my website.

Only downfall to using the cargo system is I would have no web tracking(analytics) and I'd have to pay for the privilege of using my own URL integrated with theirs.

I've used this quite a bit, very good to get a portfolio up quickly. Plus you can use it on your own server with your own domain free of charge. If you try it out and need any help let me know.

Thanks guys. The reason I like cargo is the simplicity. I dont need to crop and resize work, it does everything for me including the creation of thumbnails. The jquery is an added bonus.

I like that, might try it out however as said above, I like the jquery gallery elements of cargo.

Ah, dilemma! I still want to track visitors but I can't paste the analytics code into the cargo gallery.
