I just can't fathom how fishing could work as a game. :s
The nearest game I can think of is The Hunter, but at least you can walk around and track the Deer, *puzzled*
Agreed, however I can usually see the reason why people like them.
To me a fishing game would be like a jogging/running simulation. I'm just not sure quite how the the real life activity which I do get can translate to a game!
Carp fishing simulator ? Carp fishing involves sitting at the side of a lake in a tent laying on a bed for weeks on end waiting for an electronic alarm to tell you that you have hooked a fish . How the hell can this be made into a game ?
It'll be fishing without the long wait times? I.E you choose perfect bait for the fish, cast your hook where the game tells you fish are, try and nudge your hook towards the biggest fish you can see, he bites, you play a mini game, reel him in... not sure what's tripping anyone up here? If half the 'simulator' titled games out there exist, it's perfectly feasible for this to. For a bunch of gamers you don't really have a clue, do you.
