Phonebooth meets Die hard for Christmas?
 
Watched a xmas film on Prime yesterday (Red One).

Today I guess i'll see what this Netflix xmas film is like. The trailer feels like they've given way too much away. If it was a cinema release I would think there is some twist of shenanigans in the trailer editing to create misdirection. BUT, this is Netflix so it ain't gonna be that deep! I expect to get exactly what the trailer shows me and nothing more!

Just finished this now and I have to stand corrected! It was very good.

I dunno if it's cos:

1) I travelled via an airport on Wednesday and will do again on Sunday.
2) It's set in an airport at xmas so gives me some Die Hard 2 vibes (one of the best xmas movies ever!)
3) It had a few xmas songs (including Wham, my favourite).
4) The actress looks a bit like Eiza Gonzalez.

But a combination of these made it a really good watch. 7.5/10. I'd go as far as to say I would have paid to watch this on the big screen.

Not the usual Netflix tripe, by a long shot, still glad I cancelled my subscription though, as this film is the exception, rather than the rule!

I actually thought this wasn't bad as Christmas disaster/action thriller movies go.

In fact it was one of the better films ive watched recently.
