Cars with... "Class"

Most jags (new and old), Mercedes CLS, Alfa 8c, old 911's, some classic cars

Certainly no modern BMWs or Audis

Cars that were 'state of the art' for their period or cars that evoke a warm feeling looking at or driving them. Probably a generational thing. I do not view many if any current models as having much class. Even spending 50K plus does not show class.

I saw a spotless black Jag XKR last night effortlessly purring up the hill I had just cycled. I was smiling to myself in approval however as it got closer I noticed the driver was not your usual portly sweater wearing golfer but a youngish woman dressed in very classy equine type clothing, smiling at me, looking like she was enjoying every moment of driving the car.

It was such a classy image all round. I was however left with the dilemma of how to hide a boner in lycra. It was futile.

Bristols. Any.

Big old citroen saloons!

124 Saloons, though I am talking E500's/E36's totally standard. We have a customer with a 124 E36 Saloon. Its beautiful and worth quite a fair amount of money now, has a class to it which is lacking from modern Mercedes. 129 sl's in the right spec as well. Makes me think of old money.

Naturally my Abarth...:p

Trouble is a few of the cars in this thread are really creeping toward millionaire status....the gullwing SL's are worth serious money!!
