Hi,
Looking for a bit of advice regarding the case of my server on my home lan.
Currently it is housed in an original, (large and heavy), Stacker case, I've replaced the 120mm fans with Noctua 120mm NF-S12 units so it isn't that noisey but the main issue with it appears to be the amount of vibration from the disks.
It has seven disks, 1x 160gb Hitachi and 6x 500gb Samsung (raid5 array) spread across three 4-in-3 modules. These seem to make quite a bit of noise and vibration and I was wondering if there is anything reasonable I could do to reduce this, either with this case or possibly a new one (e.g. Lian-Li A71?)
