Hello,

I'm looking for a little advise on what case to get for a new system.

I was originally looking at the Cosmos S, but the price now is kinda putting me off.

Primarily I'm looking for good airflow/cooling.
The cosmos attracted me mainly because of the design, very sleek, good looking and not ott with gimicks.

Any cases people can suggest for me.

Thanks in advance.

Could do with more info than that really - price/size/style preferred?

Price: £100 or below

Size: Any really, although considering airflow and cooling midi/full tower

Style: Not too crazy, stylish but simple. My current rig is in a Tsunami case.

Hope that helps

Akasa eclipse 62
Antec P182

I wouldn't pay over £80 for either though they just aren't worth £90 +.

Antec P18x is probably best quiet case with good airflow so good choise.

I have this case but have not had the chance to use it yet due to faulty PSU, but my friend has it and he said it runs very cool and silent.

Your friend doesn't seem to need neither silence or cooling and the least combination of both.
Hole plate meshes of intake and exhaust fans are too restrictive (less airflow) and increase turbulence noise by being close to fan. Then HDDs don't have soft mounting and that OEM Akasa Paxmate is useless because of completely lacking mass for dampening any vibration and being too thin to really absorpt noise.
