Case and PSU Recommendations?

I'm considering building a PC purely for number crunching. I already have a gaming machine so there'll be no need for a fancy graphics card or a sound card at all.

I'm considering buying this bundle along with this graphics card. Are there any recommendations for a case or PSU? I'm still debating over which hard drive, but I won't need any help with this. Is there anything else I might be overlooking?

In addition to this would it be at all possible to get that bundle with 8GB of RAM instead of 4?

That seems to save a lot of money but how would that compare to the i7-2700K @4.6GHz? I feel more inclined to buy this machine looking at the cheaper price but what can I expect to lose in performance?

Cheers. Those look good and reasonably priced.

Do you require an OS and a dvd-rw?

I'll need an OS, and I know which I'll be getting, but there'll be no need for any CD/DVD drives.

For number crunching, he'll be wanting a 2600K/2700K/3770K.

That's what I thought. I have the 2600K on my gaming rig and I'm very happy with it, which is why I like the look of the 2700K so much.

BitFenix Shinobi as far as the case goes, you can't nock it.
For number crunching I would expect the i7 to be much better.
