I am converting an old power mac G5 case into a PC case. All is going well except I have hit a snag. I am going to put a full ATX mobo in the case and I'd like to fit the correct backplate. So I need to find an ATX back with the PCI slots etc. I would have thought that such an item would be fairly easy to pick up at the various modding sites but it appears not. I did think about buying a PC case and grabbing the part from there but I need 9 PCI slots and a 9 slot PCI case is not cheap.
Does anyone know where I case get parts for cases?
My last resort is to build one myself but that is a lot of work for something that I would have thought could be picked up.
Alternatively if anyone has an old PC case with 9 PCI slots that want to give/sell to me then I'd be very grateful.
