Case design opinions -- Image Heavy--

Hey everyone after purchasing an awesome v2000 i have been sketching a few case designs for watercooling. I have narrowed it down to two designs , The Flash and The Green Lantern comic book characters , for their emblems and general styleof the artistry, old and new .

Anyways i did a few sketches and wanted to no if any of this stuff is actually possible, from a building/constructing point of view :confused:

The Flash Design

The wings are something from the Greek god Hermes that the old Flash used to have :

I like the idea of including the wing design in the Flash case.

The Green Lantern

The the inside bit of the lantern i thought of having some white mesh or maybe some clear acrylic.

The lined beam thing was something i would love to have on the side of my case, but I'm not sure how that could be done :?

I still have a fair bit of sketching to do , so i can be satisfied but hopefully what i have put down here will give you an good idea about what im going for , useing either the Green Lantern or The Flash case designs (still haven't decided)



After all that, my questions are, does any of that stuff look do-able and if so, how would you do it :D Also opinions welcome 8)

But seriously, the Flash one would be more stable but the wings may be flimsy depending on what material is used and how think it is. For the Lantern one however you could use a Green LED'd fan if possible for the middle of the symbol or just put a Fan guard which is painted/sprayed green. The latter would be much cooler (in both ways) but would be more of a test.

[EDIT] The other flash designs are good and would be structurally stable, ill have a go at going into more depth for the green lantern one in photoshop tomorrow.[EDIT]

I had an image of useing a 220mm fan on the side over the Green lantern image, but i think that might be a little too big and rather in-effective :(

Green leds around the inside of the outer of the lantern if that makes sense.
Clear acrylic with white lighting inside.
Then maybe make a small acrylic led lit lantern to attach to the front of the case?
 
Year i was thinking about somthing just like that, wanted the flash case to be white and red with bits of gold (the colour:p) and the lantern case black and green with probably different shades of green , with some bright green LED's placed around the case, but not making it light up like radiation :D

If you outline the lantern shape - i.e. cut out around it and cover with 1cm clear acrylic all the way round, then you can have the edge lit up without it lighting anything else. If I get time later I'll do a mock-up.


I'm thinking of doing my case based on those lil C'mon dudes. :)
