Case Design- Your input appreciated!

My dream job would be to be a case designer, but I'll be looking at doing something a little smaller scale in a few years. I'll be doing A-Level product design for which I will be manufacturing a PC case. Ideally, the whole case would be made of aluminium with various panels that would bolt together and could be cut using CNC. The question is , what kind of case design should I choose?

There are a few different types of case for enthusiasts, but I want this to be original and not to be confused with a generic case. The main options are:

  • Standard dimension case
  • SFF subtle case
  • Cube case
  • Desk case

Ideally, I would like to be able to manufacture these en masse in the future and for them to be marketable to enthusiasts so I have the option to take it up as a business later. I'd like your input as to what you would like to see from a perfect case so I can enter with a sure understanding of what I aim to produce!
 
I personally would go with a case that can handle the maximum water cooled gear. You could have it so there is a well thought out spaces which you could fit any type of RAD and palces for pumps etc. Once this is worked out it would give you your size and then you would need to make the outside look nice.
 
I would like to go with a watercooled design, as there is a lot of demand for watercooling-orientated cases. However, I have no watercooling equipment I would be able to use to demonstrate the case with once I had finished the course, so perhaps a well-designed aircooled case?

I was thinking of a unibody design with a 90-degree motherboard layout, like a cross between the TJ07 and the FT02, however that wouldn't be very original. I may be able to mock up a watercooling system with cardboard dummies of rads, pumps and buying some pipes.
