Hiya all, been reading these forums for a long time, but only just got round to registering, well i have a dilemma...

After Xmas, i will be venturing on my first build project, i have a decent budget of roughly 2.5k, now i know approx all the other componants what i'll be buying or transfering from my exisiting PC depending on Benchies and the like... but the big problem i have is the case, i'm not a noob when it comes to PC's just have never built one before, but there are so many cases, so i was wondering if you could help me...

I like The Coolermaster HAF
Zalman LQ1000 (although i think i can count this out, as i'd rather buy my own sperate water cooling componants plus it's well expensive...)
Lian Li Armoursuit PC-P80B and
Silverstone Temjin TJ07B

Now i need a big case with the potential for great cable management, i'd like a window to see my work inside after i've finished, but this is not essential and i'll be getting water cooling so it will have to have plenty of space for a double or maybe if im daring a triple rad... although i don't want to be too daring my first go, so i think i'll stick to cpu water cooling at first and as i get better, then progress further...

Basically, after all that complete drivel, are there any cases that i have missed, any future ones that are coming out like the atc 840 which would be worth waiting for, i'm new to this and just want something special, something that someones going to look at and think, wow thats a bit OTT or Wow thats stylish...

Hope i haven't bored you too much :o

Silverstone Tj07 with window modded to take triple thermochill in the bottem and triple black ice in the roof. Cooling CPU and dual X2 or SLI 280's.

HAF is about as stylish as sand sifter so I would replace that candidate with ATCS 840.

Any other requirements like number of HDD and 5.25" bays?
Apparently good internal space isn't included in requirements because you're considering Zalman's micro tower.

And change that Lian Li Bling Edition to A77 which puts PSU to less warm place and instead of wasting top has space for triple radiator in there.
(like most real Lian Li towers like A70/71/7010/7110 and V2010/2110)

Lol i know some people think the HAF is fugly, but i like it, didn't realise the Zalman was so small, just seen a review and its not my cup of tea really anyway, rather build my own watercooling system tbh.

As for HDDs, well atm i have a 150gig Raptor and 2 Hitachi 500gig, so i will more than likely be transfering them over to my new case and probably getting another 150gig raptor and raid0ing them, so i will need space for just 4, as for 5.25"'s i'm not too sure, i'm not really into Watercooling atm, but am looking it all up via the net, i think i'm getting there with it all, but i want a res that will fit into a 5.25" bay, plus a fan controller (i love the look of the NXZT Sentry, not sure how it fits tho :z) plus my two DVD drives that i will be transfering over

have to say though, love the look of that A77 you linked, sorry to be so vague about it all, just thought there might be some case i'm missing out on that you lot could point me too, when you get cases like the atc 840, is it possible to get different sides with windows in them? i know windows aren't everyones cup of tea, but i want to see what i have done, if that makes sense.

Don't know about ATCS but Lian Li has both "premodded" tops and side panels with window available:

But making holes to top for radiator wouldn't be hard if you just have access to tools, just unscrew four screws and you can remove top for working with it.

And cable management is always possible if there's just space for it.

(that's internals of A70/71, A7x10 has acoustically worser plastic HDD hotswap rails)
