case door protection switch

hi . ive got a thermaltake armor super tower with a wire going to the the motherboard what protects the system and alerts you on boot up if the case door has been opened ... thing is it keeps alerting me now on boot up that the door has been opened .. the door is poperley shut ,how do you stop the alert coming up does anybody know ?

disconnect the wire

Check your motherboard manual, but it's probably just a case of putting a jumper cap on the motherboard header.
