At the moment I have 12 Lian-Li infinity fans in my rig, they have been great but I think I may change them to the phantek d30 as they are 30mm and could offer better cooling, has anybody done this.

Thought about doing it
Got lian li al120 v1 at the moment
Main thing putting me off is the cost
For 13 x d30
When not really suffering any cooling issues
With the al120
Plus the thought of all the rewiring involved

Does your cooling actually need improving?
Or just fancy some new stuff lol

I use L-connect for fan speeds control
But signal rgb for the leds
So the fan leds can match everything else
In the build

Only had one big problem with l-connect
When i first got the fans
Firmware update of the controller failed
And bricked the controller
Fair play to lian li support though
Even at the weekend and with the time difference
Within 2 days of my first message to them
They sent me a specialised software and firmware
To fix it

L-connect certainly isn't the worst manufacturers software
I have used

Again would be why change them?
If there's a noise level improvement over the 120mm
Or cooling advantage
Or static pressure advantage
Then fair enough
Otherwise it comes back to are you bored
And just want to change because you can?

What a webnote with the title BGrade offer. Put the item SKU and the amount your offing.
Thanks mate
DOH! Moment from me there
Been a while since I bought B grade stuff
Totally forgot about sending an offer
Will have to hope 3 x 120mm white ones get added
At some point
£35 would be a great price for 3
Could probably use those alone on my 60mm rad
Instead of push/pull
If they're as good as people say
