Very, very happy with the new build, my first PC in about ten years, crushes BO6 and gives me something to concentrate my tinkering habit on. The one area I'm not 100% happy is the supplied fans, they are 140mm Coolermaster Sickleflow fans, they seem to perform well but are very noisy at load, I've negated it somewhat by setting a custom fan curve in BIOS but I think over time they will start to grate so I'm looking at upgrading to something quieter without losing any of the welly. Choices from the internet seem to be:

be quiet! Silent Wings PRO 4 140mm PWM Fan

Arctic P14 PWM PST Black Fan - 140mm

Noctua Chromax NF-A14

The price difference is fairly ridiculous, ranging from 7 to 29 quid. Could anyone chime in as to the ore expensive ones are really worth it or should I just go for the Arctics?

Cheers.

Went for the Arctics, seems most of the noise is/was coming from the fan curve rather than the fans themselves. I've set a flat curve for the water pump and a very low curve for the CPU fans, this is better but still far from quiet under load, am I asking too much of a 280AIO to keep a 7800x3D silent?
