Case (ASUS TUF GT501) https://www.asus.com/Motherboards-Components/Gaming-Cases/TUF-Gaming/TUF-Gaming-GT501/

I have a 360mm Rad and would like to put it on top of my case.

I am fairly new to building PC's so I do not know what I should have as intake and exhaust fans. I was thinking about 3 front be intake, top and back outtake. However then there is Negative pressure, then I thought about top and front as intake and back as outtake (Back fan is 140mm).

Any help would be appreciated :)

Sorry if this is in the wrong forums.

Negative pressure always best but draws in dust .

AIO at top, exhausting, one rear fan exhaust, front 3 as intake . But set their rpm to be greater so you'll hit almost perfect balanced flow . Rear fan can be on low rpm with AIO fans controlled by CPU temp

So I should have the front intakes faster than the exhausts? Would 6 intake and 1 exhaust not be enough?

I'm spending a lot of money on this rig so don't wanna kill it lol. Thank you for your help.

If you put the rad at the top that wont be 6 intakes, 3 intakes front 3 exhaust top rad and 1 rear . It will cool well dont worry just a slight increase in fron fan speed will balance out the cooling as mentioned by @orbitalwalsh

Sorry for all the question, would a front rad not be a bad idea? I'm being told different things on different forums lol.

Again thank you for the help.

If it makes any difference my CPU is going to be the Ryzen 7 5800x

You could put the rad at the front which is slightly better as its drawing cold air over the rad. But this increases tempreatures inside the case means the graphics card runs slightly hotter.

Personally i would put it at the top and test if youd not haopy then maybe change it.

Personally I prefer front as intake fans, top radiator and back fan all as output. This is worst for the CPU, but I don't like putting the radiator on the front ( which is best for the CPU ) because it often limits the size of your graphics card. I guess that ASUS case is big enough for either, so, I dunno, I think it just comes down to personal preference.
