I've recently picked up a Corsair 350d on the mm. I'm wanting to control the fans, but I don't want a drive bay controller as these just look ugly in the 350d.

What other options do I have? I did stumble across the Corsair link and it looks perfect for the job.. But can't find them in stock anywhere and have read of a fair few problems.

Motherboards will have software you can use to control fan speeds, what board do you have?

Will be buying the msi Z87m gaming. From what I can tell only has two fan headers. One to be used with my H80 cooler, case will have 3-4 fans.

Correction, It seems to have 4 from a close up image. Might just be able to get away with a 140mm fan up top I guess.

In that case one possible solution is to use a PWM splitter and power upto 5 fans with speed control via the cpu fan header. All fans have to be PWM models though.

Ah, well you learn something new every day. Looks the perfect solution, Can put two corsair sp120s in the front running from a splitter :) cheers guys.

The fans i used were akasa piranhas, if all the fans were corsair sp PWM models it would work the same as how i done it.
