Hi all.
I have 6 x 140 be quiet! Silent Wings FX fans going into a NZXT H7 Flow with a MSI MAG Tomahawk Z790. They come with a SATA powered Hub with 6 x PWM fan connectors and 6 x ARBG connectors. I have the Hub connected to the CPU_FAN header and one of the ARGB connectors.
2 of the fans are attached to a 280mm AIO, both PWM and ARGB connected to the Hub, with 1 fan in the RPM PWM connector that sends speed to motherboard. BIOS is reporting the RPM fine as CPU Fan speed.
I'm not sure how to connect the 4 remaining case fans, 3 intake and 1 exhaust. I have no PWM daisy chain cable so thinking that I would connect each of the 4 ARGB's to the Hub but connect the 4 PWM connectors to 4 different SYS_FAN headers on the motherboard. I'm thinking that if I connect the 4 PWM to the Hub, all 6 will be acting like the CPU fan with the same RPM across all six. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not?
Would that be the right way to do it?
Thanks!
