Hi today I bought a real cheap set-up for my dad, as he had some ancient dell, but he only wanted to spend around £100 so I just got an Intel Celeron E3400, Gigabyte GA-G41MT-D3, 2GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM (I'll add another one later on down the line probably) and a competitor branded case w/500W PSU.
The case didn't come with any fans but there's space for a couple of 120mm ones, so I was wondering is it worth it or will the hardware that I'm using not produce enough heat to justify spending another £20 on a couple of fans when I could buy another 2GB of RAM or something instead.
EDIT: Looks like I put this in the wrong section. I just assumed that the 'Cooling' from 'Overclocking & Cooling' meant CPU cooling. If a mod could move it that would be great
Sorry!!
