Hi All,

After some advise on whether it's worth upgrading my case fans or not? I currently have a Corsair 780T case, with a H100 at the top, and then the standard 3 fans that came with the case (2 front intake, 1 exhaust).

Since adding the 1080ti Aorus card my temps seem higher on CPU (around 55) and the gpu on heavy load can reach 78/79. Other than doing a complete watercool make over which i dont want to do how can i reduce the temps?

Thanks

Dunno what GPU you had previously, but this one may be spoiling the front air intake and/or generating more heat inside the case.

I assume the H100 is exhausting? You could try reversing the H100 fans and have them intaking, or add a third fan up top to exhaust.
I believe you can also get another two at the bottom, to chuck more cool air in?

I had a 980ti before. As for the H100, yes they are exhusting at the top so maybe turn them around ? I can add more to the bottom as you have said too, do you think it will help reduce the temps? Or get better case fans?

Try the cheapest stuff first. In this case (pun intended) turning the fans round.
Also, I assume you dust the machine out regularly?

Better case fans will also help. The included Corsair ones will be OK, but there are better - Corsair ML fans, for starters... also Noctua, EK Vardar and a few others, depending how much you want to spend.
