Case fans setup

Hello the case I will be buying is corsair carbide 500r. Witch comes with 4 fans two in-take front a big 200 in-take side and one 120 at the back.
Now I will be adding a corsair H80, witch is recommended to be setup as in-take.

That means every fan in case will be setup has in-take lol on this case can you turn the Big side 200 and set it up has an out-take.

What would uses do with the fans in that setup?

Ignore what Corsair say,

Remove the rear fan and place it in the roof exhausting upwards.

Place the H80 at the rear with the two fans blowing outwards.

Good idea so have two front in-take, side in-take and H80 out-take and single 120 up top out-take.
That should work good.

Or might spend extra and pick up H100, have the two front in-take, side in-take, back 120 out-take with H100 out-take also should give better cooling.

Will you need the extra cooling of the H100?

Pointless if you don't.

True, Am hoping to OC i5200k to 4.5 Ghz. H100 does keep case more tidy tho lol

I have a 500r and a H80.

I use the H80 as a rear exhaust, and moved the fan that was there to the top as another exhaust.

I have a X5650 oc'd to 4Ghz, and its maxxes out at 63c

So as a exhaust I would say you will do fine, you wont notice much difference in temp.

Thanks do you have the side has in-take also? will just stick with h80 then.

Also have a 500r with h80, front and side intake, two on top exhaust and h80 blowing in to the case. Temps are fine, should be even better tomorrow when I kit the whole thing out with the new specter pro fans.

For which I will have pics and review up for if you are interested in the results and how it looks.

Yup my side is still pushing air in...
Works nicely that, as it keeps the GPU cool too.
