Hello all, after the living hell that was the Darkbase Pro 900 Rev 2 (Never knew such hell existed) I am going to have to look for another case, I was eyeing up the Lancool II Mesh Performance, the shroud just falls down at the sides which is really nice and the power supply fits flush to the back of the case which were the two hiccups I had with current case.

Anybody got the above CPU/Heatsink combi with the above Lancool case have any issues?

Lancool II Mesh and Corsair 5000D im looking at now, seem like a couple of solid choices.

I’m literally about to build with the same components as you. I’ve gone with the O11 Air Mini which is due to be in stock today, I’m hoping it is because I’m local and have it for store pickup.
That’s coming from a standard o11 air. I’m only changing due to the case not supporting the cpu cooler but the air mini will

Wish I had a local shop I could just plod into and physically see these cases.

ocuk store has been closed since covid but I do remember one week going into the shop 3 times on my lunches and left with fans and psu cables. I miss them days
Thats a bummer about the store having to be closed, hope you enjoy the new case when you get it :)

I am contemplating getting the RM braided cable set to have a little easier time with the cables.

Id like to hear how you get on with the case and any pics if possible.

I am in the middle of building a PC for son in the Lian Li Lancool Mesh II and its a nice case, not a massive footprint but plenty of room and the front fan removable cage is a nice feature.

My only small gripe is the hard drive cage that can't be removed without forcing it.
I left it in as there is still room for the PSU Cables.

I'm putting a 280 AIO but the CPU clearance on the specs says it's 176mm and the Noctua is 158mm so it should fit in easily.

What do you mean by forcing it?

Looked ok here

Most videos skip the labor part and just say they are going to do it then cut forward after its done, this guy is great.
