Hi,

Just sorted out from the other forum the components I'm going to buy for a new upgrade, but am confused as to what case to buy - there are so many I'm not sure what the advantages really are. Ideally I don't want to spend over £70, and wouldn't mind a sleek black one!

Thanks,

Ed

Thanks for the quick reply, but I notice that case says:
"the Three Hundred has enough room for an NVIDIA 8800 series graphics card"

Does this mean it wouldn't fit a 9800 gtx+?, which is what I plan on buying

Just various gamers combined with my thoughts hehe - I've taken all suggestions into consideration though :)

I'm reading the Antec 300 only has 2 x USB 2.0 - I was sure all modern cases would have much more than that - usb's for headset, mouse, keyboard, flash memory stick. Is this correct?

+1 for the antec 300, 2 USB ports are standard, the rest will be provided by your motherboard.

also

+1 for the 4850, much better card for the money, just sticking to either ATI or Nvidia is silly, they both have great cards at different price ranges, the 4850 is just cheaper than the 9800gtx and offers roughly the same performance.

Thanks, think I'll get the antec 300.

As for the graphics card, well it seems a lot of people have different opinions, and I have based mine from articles like:

yes but i am speaking as a 9800gtx owner - telling you not to get the card

the only reason it is doing so well in the benchmarks on here is because i have put a good cooler on it and overclocked its nuts off
