I'm on the point of ordering bits for my new system, but can't decide on a case!

I like the look of the NZXT Lexa Classic Series Ultra light Aluminum Midtower, but its a bit pricey.

I want an aluminium case, which is fairly roomy and quiet.

any suggestions?

thanks!

Plain? Or tasteful? It's one of the few sub ~£100 cases that isn't covered with plastic, LEDs or unwanted extras such as flimsy plastic doors. It's clean inside with a good drive layout and solid construction. That's why it's so popular.

that case looks so plain though!
That's what I first thought when I saw it, wouldn't choose anything else over it now if I was buying a new case at that price though. Have a look round for people's photos of it rather than stock ones, although they still don't do it justice.

I appreciate the input and the photo's, but I plain just don't like that case!

Anyone any experience of the ZXT Lexa Classic Series Ultra light Aluminum Midtower?

Ive got a NZXT Lexa, and it is very good. With 3 120mm fans, and 1 80mm exhaust, and with room for another 80mm its really good at cooling. It looks sylish and its generally very good. If you want some pics just ask and i will post them on my webby soon. I am currently writing a review for the case for my webby aswell, so i will post when its up. But if you cant wait, then its a very good case, and it comes with a carry strap for LANS.

The LEXA is a bit flimsy though, very very good for a gaming case but I would not trust it in the back of my car.

Yes I am a build quality freak, but its the easiest type of case to recommend.

Lexa is about as good as a Jeantech Phong, and is beaten slightly by the Lanboy in everything bar looks.

(THG are highly biased usually, take with a pinch of salt unless its cold hard facts.)

Some pics would be good!

A few people have mentioned flimsy build quality - this worries me a bit!

It is a bit flimsy, but as long as your not going to attack it with a hammer or drop it out of a window it will be fine. Ill upload the pics in a min

Lexa has 2x120mm intakes, 120mm rear exhaust, 1x80mm top exhaust, and room for another 80mm. as my explantion earlier wasent very clear :(

Cheers for that, but I'll have to wait till I get home to look at those.

Does the case have a mobo tray? Cases that don't are really awkward!
