i have to find a case , preferably under £80 for a build im doing for my friend. has to fit a arctic cooling freezer pro, atx mobo, enough room for a 8800gts 512mb , only two hard drives are going to be used and two dvd rw drives, so hopefully these will fit. the case needs to have good air cooling and good looks (preferably black with a window), also preferably easy to use (internally) so im talking taking out cages and fitting stuff etc.

what do you guys recommend:

i was thinking of :

antec 900, lian li pc7, nzxt lexa or i might be able to bump the budget up to a Akasa Eclipse 62.

anything else worth considering?

Under £80, Lian-Li PC7+ and get some new fans with the spare moolah. No question about that.

Or bump the budget and get the Eclipse-62 as you suggested, it boils down to personal preference on looks really as they're quite similar spec wise.. But I wish you the very best of luck trying to find the maxi-view window. :(

quick question as im thinking of getting the lian li pc7 for my own use soon. the seIII worth getting other the one stocked at ocuk ? its cost a little extra though.

Personally I think it is as it has the features I want (see back to the thread I started for what they are).

If you're not too fussed about those features, save some money and get the 7+ off here.

i would reccomend the akasa eclipse62. very spacious case because its so wide. it comes prefitted with 2 good 120mm fans. it has a removeable motherboard tray. good build quality and very easy to hide cables out of the way. id safely say its the best part of my system:)

Don't overlook the Antec 300, or the new version two of the Akaza Zen, at the cheap end of the market.
The Coolermaster Dominator and Silverstone PS-01B-W are attractive mid budget cases.
