Case for full size PCI card

Hi all,

I have a full size PCI card that we use for hardware acceleration at work and need a new case to put it in.

It seems that most all manufacturers place the HD bays at the front of the cases these days, which without taking a hacksaw to the case sort of limits their usage. Had thought of going for a case with a removable HD tray down at the bottom, but given the lenght of the card am slightly worried about not having any support at the far end. Does anyone know of any cases out there that will still accept a full length PCI card?

Thanks.

nice, I hadn't realised some of those cases were so long; I assumed anything with a hd bay in that location would be too short.

Let's see, that case is 490mm. Any other suggestions for cases around that size?

Ha!

As for requirements, size/looks aren't overly important; will probably be stuck under a desk somewhere.

Would say cost is probably the biggest factor, don't have a set price, but wouldn't want to pay too much if I didn't have to.

Fractal XL mate, you can fit an elephant in there (When you remove the HDD bay ofcourse) and even after removal of the HDD bay, there is an extra HDD bay at the bottom chamber.

Thanks for all the suggestions; some of those looked sweet, but in the end couldn't justify the expense. Looking forward to delivery of my coolmaster elite.

Cheers!
