Just posted in the cases section, but realised that not many people are checking that, so apologies to the mods if im messing up the joint, feel free to delete as appropriate.

hello folks,

First post here and im asking for some help for a novice, im looking at getting the http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...85&subcat=1270 but one of the things i cant decide on a case.

I have 2 main problems, one is airflow, and the other is dust filters, i have a dog that sheds more fur than i can keep up with at times, so i need a case with very good filters, and i would very much appreciate any advice you can give me with the cases on offer for that system.

Im not overly fussed about the noise, and im not really too bothered about full on neons and the like since in my desk i will only see the front of the case anyway.

the default choice seems to be the Xigmatek Alfar Midi Tower Windowed Case but from the photos im worried about the top vents, do they come with added filters that have just been removed for the photo?

Thanks folks

phone the order or email them, then pick any case you like tbh, as they will alter it for you for what ever case you want as long as your stuff fits

im not worried about them being able to use any case, im sure they will, but im specifically worried about getting a case that will be a nightmare to clean or end up getting damage because of my dog.

Short of waxing my dog i thought this would be an easier solution to the problem :p

Th Alfar does not have any fan filters, however you can buy some demciflex ones to add to it like suggested above.

The NZXT phantoms always have plenty of filters.

thanks all for the suggestions, finaly went for the antec 902. ordered it this morning. it says it has washable filters so il have a look when it arrives, and if its not enough il definately look at those demciflex ones.
