Hi,

Could I get a sanity check. I want to store at least 10 3.5" HDDs in my PC, so I was looking at a Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2.

Am I reading correctly that the case can take 12 3.5" HDDs but only comes with bays for 4x?

If so, are these the correct bays I need to purchase, and for 10 drives do I need to buy 6 of them?

Are there any other cases you would choose instead for a full ATX motherboard and at least 10x 3.5" drives?

No GPU, but the LSI HBA card is not exactly small. I'm happy to look at other form factors instead of full tower as long as they have the drive capacity.

That seems to list models that don't include the Enthoo

  • Compatible with Phanteks Evolv X & P600S

it should say in the manual, which can be downloaded from their website i would have thought
That's a good point actually, thanks. The manual says the additional brackets are in fact the ones freddie64 linked to. Despite the description not saying so.

I find the manuals for cases are fantastic to study before a purchase. Especially with watercooling or in this case when an unusual amount of HDD space is required.
