Hi there,
I've been given a case (new) by a friend to help cut down the cost of the build. It's a micro ATX case but there are no standoffs for the mobo - only raised dimples instead that match up perfectly with the hole. I am looking to see if I need to buy anf fit standoffs, the problem is that if I do this the io plate at the back doesn't line up and half the memory slots are too close to the HDD. Is it safe to just go ahead and screw the case down to these dimples? My only concern is that I'm not certain if they are threaded and that dircet contact with the mobo might short it out.
I was also wondering if it's standard to be able to take the plastic facing off the front of the case. I need to fix an 80mm fan there (product description says it can take a front and back 80mm fans) but I can't see how to screw the damn thing on any other way!
Sorry for the wall of text and non-OCUK product question (wasn't sure if it was a prohibited topic!).
