My last experience of case RGB strips were adhesive or magnetic strips connected to a small box that was powered with a molex and controlled by a credit card sized plastic remote.
Not being a fan of RGB I have bought an NZXT H9 in black, and a load of P14 Pro fans, and will initially be going for a plain air cooled build.
But I am now having doubts as I have not thought through the illumination of the case inside. Last two builds were a simple led strip set to a low output white.
Are there modern magnetic strips that simply plug into the motherboard or do I need something different these days?
Not even looked at the case and where a strip can go to be honest, CPU cooler is going to be an Arctic Freezer 36 for now, AIO maybe next year.
