case led/switch leads

after making a hash of changing the leds on the ufo i now need to get new cables complete with motherboard connections.

can these be purhcashed or can i fix them ie remove the cable from the black connector thing and put new wires in?

Inside those black connectors I'm guessing you'll find small metal sleaves crimped onto the wires. If you can get those off and re-crimp them onto some other wires that should be fine.

Otherwise, do like I've done in the past and raid them from old PC's. I've taken one out of an old case our IT department was throwing away, but I'm guessing not everyone has access to that kind of thing.

just a quick update, what i have done is used the white connector block that comes with the asus board and soldered directly on to them.
